Postovice, Czech

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to check out a new Teen Challenge project in Postovice, Czech, just outside of Prague. I was able to meet with Petr Ministr, the Czech national TC director, and Dr. Jerry Nance, the Florida TC director. Teen Challenge centers from the southeastern US have partnered with Czech TC to buy and renovate 95,000 sq. ft. of farm buildings that date back possibly as far as 700-800 years. It is a great place and will be a wonderful facility when finished. Their vision is for the facility to house a men's center, classrooms, a church (none in the village presently), accomodations for workers, and an international TC workers training program. Some of the facility has already been renovated. Currently, 13 students are housed there. Also a small dorm for work teams has been completed, as well as a cafeteria. The Czech TC program is a tremendous ministry with great leadership. I am blessed to be a small part of what they are doing. Thank you for your partnership with us in building facilities throughout Central Europe where many lives will be changed. Right now the Czech TC program is limited by the size of their facilities. Once this facility is renovated and the TC addition in Sluknov is completed, there will be room for hundreds more men and women with drug and alcohol problems. Once in this program they will be able to experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ and his power to deliver them from these life-controlling substances. It sure is exciting to be a part of what God is doing here in Central Europe, isn't it? All of you who team with us through prayer, giving, or coming on a team, play a role just as important as ours. And we thank you for your sacrifice so that people in Central Europe can be won into the Kingdom. In the coming weeks I will be able to go look at two more new projects: a church in Swiebodzin, Poland and a church in Varpalota, Hungary. I can't wait! And I want you to know that through your prayers and giving, you will be right there with me. Vielen Dank (thank you very much).
